Conference Mediterranean Rome, 6-7 Nov 2013

The event, organised by the Italian Erasmus Mundus National Structure (National Contact Point Erasmus Mundus), focused on the issue of international cooperation in the perspective of development and implementation of joint study programmes as a tool for university internationalisation. During the conference many aspects and practical solutions were presented as well as good practices in running joint programmes. The conference supported educational cooperation of universities and was a good starting point for a broader discussion on national reforms facilitating the joint international initiatives such as joint study programmes.

The conference was directed to the representatives of:

  • HEIs from selected EU and third countries;
  • Bologna Experts and Higher Education Reform Experts;
  • National Authorities;
  • European Commission, Erasmus Mundus National Structures and National Tempus Offices.
